Description

Very rare 1986 heavy metal album that was limited to a pressing of 1000. It is not known how many have survived, but they rarely come up for sale.
Contradiction To The Rule was Rusty Wright's first foray into recording and was released on vinyl in 1984. Bad Axe began recording this album in 1981 when Rusty was still in high school. The lineup up features a 17-year old Rusty Wright and 15-year old drummer Tommy Stewart who went on to play drums with Godsmack, Fuel and Sass Jordan.

Corroseum.org says of this album:"All US Metal collectors that think they have all the great rarities of the scene and they don't own this LP they should immediately reconsider their beliefs because they simply miss one of the best private metal records of the 80s. With sound similar to Angelwitch, Tytan, Traitors Gate and Virtue this Bad Axe (totally different band from the Canadian act) manage to possess the listener from first to last minute. Bombastic metal anthems like "The ice queen", "All the dead magicians" and the absolute metal killer "The last knight" will leave you stunned and wondering how this band is possible to be so obscure....Metalheads chase it until the depths of hell!!"
This album has been play-tested and sounds great (with just a little background noise in the quiet parts in between songs).
Will be shipped with 3mil protective outer sleeve and in industry-best Whiplash record mailer for optimal protection. Shipping is $5.95 ($4 for shipping and the Whiplash record mailers are almost $2/piece).
