Cargo Records Germany hat neben den Hauptaufgaben als Musikvertrieb und Label auch eine eigene Herstellungsabteilung, mit der sie sich um die Tonträgerproduktion von Labels wie z.B. Sub Pop, Roadrunner Records und Nuclear Blast kümmern.

Beside its main tasks as a music distributor and label, Cargo Records also owns an in-house production department. This department deals with the production of records from labels such as Sub Pop, Roadrunner Records, Nuclear Blast and many more!

 

Bei der Vinylherstellung werden von dem Presswerk vor der Produktion Testpressungen geliefert, um die Qualität zu überprüfen.  Diese Testpressungen sind Unikate und bei Sammlern aufgrund ihrer Exklusivität sehr beliebt.

During the production process test pressings are produced and shipped to our head quarter for quality control. Those test pressings are unique and rare copies and something every collector`s heart is craving for!



 Im Laufe der letzten Jahre haben sich im Cargo Headquarter einige Testpressungen angesammelt, die jetzt für einen guten Zweck versteigert werden! Insgesamt werden 64 Testpressungen in vier Wochen versteigert und der Erlös kommt der Wuppertaler Tafel  sowie dem Berliner Archiv der Jugendkulturen e.V. zugute.

Jetzt liegt es an euch, sich diese Schätze nach Hause zu holen und gleichzeitig etwas Gutes zu tun!

Through the last years the number of those pressings in our archive rose and since we are already in a Christmas mood, we decided to auction 64 of them and give the proceeds to two charity organisations namely  “Wuppertaler Tafel” and “Berliner Archiv der Jugendkulturen e.V.”

Now it’s up to you to grab one of those diamonds and do something good at the same time!
