Description
Due to a change in my work schedule I have not had the time to list any records on ebay for a few months but I'm happy to say I am now back on my old work hours so can now resume selling the last of my brother's collection from his press agency days. These are made up of punk, mod, new wave, glam, psych and indie from the 60's, 70's and 80's and will include promo's, test pressings, overseas releases, signed items and over choice bits. As always nearly all will be in top condition as most have been in storage for 30+ years. I'll be listing every Monday as this proved popular with collectors the last time, so for the next few weeks at least new auctions starting every Monday evening. Good luck and happy bidding!
Very rare original UK issue 7" on the New Hormones label from 1977. Brilliant debut single by the Buzzcocks, who in 1977 became one of the 1st bands to self-finance and release their own record. This is an original 1st pressing, one of an initial first run of just 700 - 1000 made with plastic moulded labels and no mention of Howard Devoto on the front of the sleeve, it was later re-released in 1979 with paper labels and Howard Devoto text on the front of the sleeve. Just 2 weeks after it's initial release Devoto left the band stating ill health amongst other things as the reason, he later returned with his own band Magazine in 1978. Features 4 amazing tracks: Boredom, Friends of mine, Breakdown and Times up. Signed on the front of the sleeve by Steve Diggle and Pete Shelley after a gig at the Venue, Cardiff a few years ago.
