Description

buzzcocks "spiral scratch" E.P.
Original first pressing of the legendary 7" single produced by Martin "Zero" Hannett with plastic stamped labels and no "with Howard Devoto" credit on front of sleeve
A side - Breakdown / Time's Up (run-out groove area reads 'EAT THE BEAT') B side -  Boredom / Friends Of Mine (run-out groove area reads 'PULSE OUT')
Label: New Hormones   Cat no: ORG  Year: 1977
Condition: Record: Near Mint - has been played once / has the smallest amount of  background surface noise. This could possibly be eradicated if cleaned professionally. It sounds fantastic as it is though! I bought this off eBay a few years ago to replace my old worn copy and it was part of a collection of records found in a warehouse which had never even reached the shops! If you would like to hear an MP3 of the actual record, please ask and I can send this to you. Sleeve: Near Mint (very small amount of creasing - please see photos) - absolutely stunning condition especially for its age.

Why buy from me?


All records are from my own personal collection and have been lovingly cared for, handled carefully, stored upright and kept in PVC or poly sleeves.

Many were bought when I worked in an independent record shop in the 1980s before they went on the shelves.


Most have only been played a few times if at all.


Before listing, records are cleaned with an anti-static cloth, played on a well maintained Dual turntable

and listened to carefully on headphones. Then they're graded honestly using the Record Collector Magazine system.


All purchases are well packaged as I want them to reach you in the condition I would like to receive them!

Please bear in mind that the postage price includes the cost of packaging material too.
