This is a stunning Buffalo Springfield collection, with hugely complimentary sleevenotes by John Peel, providing some indisputable evidence that this was easily one of the 1960’s greatest bands, even though they only actually existed for two years. This is a first pressing on the orange/maroon Atlantic label of a 1970 compilation album and therefore has quite spectacular sound quality, thanks to the fact that it’s a hardly played Near Mint item. This is both an audio and visual grade, the record has the appearance of a lovely shining, clean piece of vinyl. There are no visible faults with the condition of the disc, there is virtually no spindle wear and absolutely no damage of any kind. A strong light will reveal some really faint and totally non-sounding paper scuffs, these are the only real clues to the fact that this is a played disc. The audio clarity is superb, really powerful and a true aural presentation of these great cuts. The entire disc plays without any pops or clicks at all, a shining example of a well looked after record.

COVER CONDITION: EXCELLENT+++

Fully laminated, fully intact, bright shiny and as clean as the day it was originally bought. This really is a classic example of a well cared for album cover, there’s absolutely none of the usual complaints that attach themselves to 34 year old record covers - such as un-sticking, scuffed edges and ring-wear. This is a used record cover that has maintained the highest possible standard and there is very little wear at all to comment on. There are a few very small laminate creases and a little bit of laminate lifting near the spine. The spine itself is still firm, upright and the text is clearly legible. The top and bottom edges are totally smooth, there’s no signs of wear here whatsoever. For a used item, this is a near to perfect album case, with a nice fully intact paper inner, complimenting an equally wonderful record.

I specialise in selling rare, collectable and hard to find vinyl. All of our ebay listings are play graded, when buying rare records over the internet I suggest that you settle for nothing less. I have been a collector of records and a trader for over 20 years and, as such, I use the experience I have gained in this area to grade & describe the records as accurately as possible. Good luck!
