Release date: June 1972.

On offer here is a VERY RARE original ‘spaceship’ VERTIGO label issue of the first album by Sydney-based rock band, BUFFALO.  Musically we’re talking BLUESY HARD ROCK & HEAVY PSYCH with some PROG moves.  This proto-metal sound paved the way for many imitators, but this is the real deal.  The liner notes urge us all to - Play this album LOUD!

front: VG(+) moderate ring-wear (top & bottom) and some rubbing, minimal creasing (along spine), sticker stain & small tear (top-right).

inside gatefold: VG++ light ring-wear (top & bottom) and spot staining, 50mm crease along top seam (right-hand side).

back: VG heavy ring-wear (inner & outer rim – mainly top & bottom) and some rubbing, minimal creasing (along spine), light scuffing along bottom seam.

Record:

EX+ visual: beautiful glossy sheen—exceptional overall, few hairlines only (M-); audible: SUPERB PUNCHY and VIBRANT SOUND (EX+) despite some minimal underlying surface noise; labels: HARDLY ANY SPINDLE WEAR.
