TITLE/ARTIST: Please continue to check out all current and future listings on this site as everything from my personal collection will eventually come up for sale in my auctions - from the '50's, '60's, and much, much more - all "oldies" in great condition! Here is one of my very earliest and most treasured record albums by two legends of R'n'R music, Buddy Know and Jimmy Bowen, from back in 1959. The rare album is on the white with colored spokes, Roulette Label. - and is yet another album which is in very good overall condition - and even comes with it's original Roulette Records inner sleeve. It is the 1st and only released LP by this pair - one who continued with a successful singing career and the other who became a legendary and highly successful record producer/arranger for all genre's of music. The LP has become highly collectible to rock 'n' roll enthusiasts. As stated earlier, the album is on the white, with colored spokes, Roulette Label and includes 12 great songs - including a couple that were minor hits for one party or the other (see the pics above for all the song titles).The 1959 released LP is in MONO and, appears to me to be in very nice overall condition, although it is not perfect by any means - so please see pics above and read on. LABEL INFO: This original, "colored spokes", Roulette Label (R 25048) is nearly perfect with no real issues at all - I don't even see too many spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had very little play time. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also super shiny, clean, and nice with again, nothing in serious need of a mention, although there are some super light (and I do mean, "super light") surface/paper lines on either side. Otherwise though, the vinyl looks really clean and nice! JACKET INFO: Finally, this jacket is also primarily in great shape - especially the attractive front side - but please read on as there are these 2-3 of mentionable flaws - a couple very small scuff marks in the corner areas, a small amount of very light wear/aging on the backside only, and a somewhat discreet, 6" seam split along the very top edge. In my opinion, this split could be repaired because it's so "on the seam" and as neat as a seam split can be, if you know what I mean. But other than these fairly minor issues, both the album and jacket appear to me to be very clean and nice. INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, in my opinion this LP is in very good overall shape, and apparently is highly desired by both serious R'n'R fans or those rare and unusual LP collectors. In addition, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and some C&W LPs/45's, too----so please continue to check out my site. As I have already mentioned, I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 1000's more to get to yet -- of all genre's and varieties.
