TITLE/ARTIST: Here is one of those super rare and highly collectible LP`s by one of the '50's greatest, albeit short lived, singer's - the legendary Buddy Holly. This was his very 1st LP release on the original Coral Label - and comes complete with an old Coral Records inner sleeve and all. It is yet another album which is in really good condition - both the vinyl and jacket - and one I never thought I'd ever part with, but here it is, so have at it... The album is on the original Coral Label and is self-entitled "Buddy Holly". The LP includes 12 great songs, including his early hits, "Peggy Sue", "Everyday", "Rave On", and others - all in MONO and all in great shape (see pics above for all song titles). I have listed - and will continue to list - many other LP's, EP's and 45's in the weeks and months ahead, so please bookmark my site and check everything out from time to time. Thank you in advance! LABEL INFO: This original, maroon colored Coral Label (CRL 57210) is extremely nice with no real issues at all - I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had very little actual play time. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is shiny, clean, and nice with again, nothing in serious need of mentioning, although there are a few super light (and I do mean super light) surface paper lines in a couple of places. Otherwise, to me the vinyl looks almost as good as the day it was 1st purchased. JACKET INFO: Finally, the jacket - showing a rare pic of Buddy without his famous glasses - is also primarily clean and nice, although there are some small and light signs of early "aging" and slight discoloring in a few spots on the backside. But again, I don't see this as being anything too serious, especially since the front side of this jacket is nearly perfect. INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this ultra rare, very 1st Buddy Holly LP is in very nice overall condition, and extremely hard to find anymore - especially in this kind of shape, so please have at it. As always, please continue to check this site for more great conditioned "oldies" from my extensive personal collection. As I have already mentioned, over time I am selling off this entire collection, and there are 100's more to get to yet -- of all genre's, sizes, and varieties.
