Description
FOUR NICE PIECES OF VINTAGE SHEET MUSIC:
BUDDY HOLLY "Peggy Sue, " Melody Lane Publications," 1957; in excellent condition, graphics full color, pages shiny and clean; lower left corner creased (see pic), name and "Jan 1957" written in very light pencil at top beneath the "E" in "PEGGY;" no other problems.
THE BIG BOPPER "Chantilly Lace," Peer International Corp," 1958; front green graphics faded by still nice; name written in ink to the left of Bopper (see pic); music store ink stamp in upper right corner above Bopper's arm (almost faded-out; 1/4" split lower seam and 1 1/2" tear into back page from top of split; no further problems or distractions..
RITCHIE VALENS "Donna," Kemo Music Company," 1958; clean, white, bright and shiny; perforations along left side (apparently this item was formerly kept in a notebook); several very small pieces of old paper stuck to the upper right of the back; otherwise, no other problems.
DON MC CLEAN "American Pie," Mayday Music Inc., 1972: clean, bright, no problems.
I had these four items on a wall in my music room displayed as "American Pie" for several years.
