BUD POWELL “The Amazing . . .” RVG, Blue Note 5003 10-inch Mono Vinyl
This is the first pressing, Frame Cover, 1952, 10 inch, Flat Rim, P pressing of BUD POWELL’s “The Amazing Bud Powell” on the "767 Lexington Ave” labels of Blue Note BLP 5003.
VINYL plays with CONSISTENT LIGHT SURFACE NOISE consistent light surface noise, pops and ticks. Rich, strong sound. Odd high pitched tone Side 2, #1 in the recording, not pressing defect. Ensemble sections are dynamic and clear. No Skips. No locked grooves. No distortion. Good gloss. Many hairline marks, none feelable. (If you can't feel it you won't hear it). The Deep Groove "767 Lexington Ave” labels show wear, spindle marks. See photos.

Frame COVER is in very Good shape, corners worn. Ringwear. Some nicks on spine and seams but mostly clean. Back jacket shows aging, stains, see photos.
This LP was play-tested. RECORD CLEANED ON ULTRASONIC CLEANER.
