This is the rarest Bud Powell record and is much sought after by Jazz collectors. This is the original MONO recording. It was recorded in Europe in April of 1962 when he was at the height of his musical powers. This is the BLACK LABEL SONET, which is the first pressing. Fully laminated cover.

Recto: The four corners are dulled, there is a small lack in the opening, as an awl ( 0,5cm ) .Visible on photo.
Verso: Stain right corner low, otherwise no defect.
Edge :immaculate.

VISUALY:Shows several superficial marks visible under strong light.
AUDIO:This quality of the recording can be qualified " as audiophile ".
The first piece of every face lets hear some light surface noise then on a more quiet passage in the middle of the record- about great majority of the listening assist it take place without clash, nor pertubation .The pleasure is then at most. The profound and dynamic sound is fantastic! I shall consider the listening of Ex-for some passages indicated.

M- = Near mint (imperceptible wear, full vinyl gloss)
EX = Excellent (only very slight wear and paper scuffs, vinyl still glossy with very rare noise)
VG++ = Near Excellent (light surface noise and wear but fairly minor, vinyl still plays nicely)
VG+ = Very Very Good (Evident groove wear or minor scuff marks, surface noise noticeable but does not really affect the playing)
VG = Very Good (Wear and scuffs are more evident and many surface noises are noticeable)
