Description

Up for auction.  Original promotional test pressing of Bruce Springsteen's Born to Run LP.  Known as "The Script Cover" release and very rare. A beautiful copy which includes LP, gatefold cover, post card, info/credit sheet, original LP sleeve.  All pictures were taken the day of posting.  The LP is in mint condition and I believe was unplayed until I gave it a spin on my VPI.  Sounds incredible.  LP has been stored in a MOFI sleeve for proper protection. Confirmed matrix/runout P AL 33795 -1A MCR and P BL 33795 -1A MCR. Summary of LP

Sepia-toned gatefold picture sleeve with no inside/rear text and different, script-style title lettering on front; thus also known as "the script cover". Discs - which were pressed at Columbia's Pitman, New Jersey plant - carry white "Advance Promotional" 
Includes a postcard-sized, laminated tracklist insert (with "Meeting Across The River" still listed under its original working title of "The Heist"), a separate info/credits sheet.
