USA very scarce 1997 12" only single of thier infamous "Not If I Was The Last Dandy On Earth" release(only 300 pressed & all the records are white blank labels on this obscure pressing & NOT ever reissued. Recently all but two of their 12" EP's have been reissued on vinyl & CD but not this one & this B side is NOWHERE else to my knowledge (EVIL1 Keep Music Evil, run off grooves on the vinyl say A: Keep Music Evil -1 S-36630. B: Keep Music Evil -2 S-36631).

SONGS: A: Not If You Were The Last Dandy On Earth B: 30 min speech by Anton Newcombe about how he met the Dandies and their success while playing various records (ALA Velvet Underground's the Gift sort of with talking in one speaker & music in the other if I remember this correctly).

CONDITION: The record has a pressing defect with it, the spindle hole is slightly off centered, the A side (in which the song literally only takes up about the first 1/3 of the black plastic & is 45 rpm) you can slightly hear it if you really pay attention (really only if you watch where it pitches back & forth every so slightly) unfortunately the B side I can't get to play all the way through (it is pressed at 33 1/3rd at least) vinyl isn't supposed to go over 23 minutes a side before sound quality gets lost, at probably just past the 20 minute mark this would play no further for me on my Linn turntable & cheaper extra one I had (I even tried to slightly weigh down the tone arm to no avail, the grooves are just too tight for this to play all the way through with it being slightly off centered) I do remember 20 years ago though re-drilling a hole on a record beautifully (to time consuming for me now & don't have that spindle hole sized drill bit handy) you just mark where the record goes out to far on each revolution & slowly with a drill bit shave off a bit. I've seen the last copy of this rare record with a lot worse cover wear go for $150 so your guess of the value since I'm starting it low. Anyways the vinyl looks excellent (almost near mint) with very light needle wear around the 20 minute mark on the B side (I definitely did no damage to actually make it skip, this was sealed until just a few years ago when I finally cracked it open to hear it, you can see just the lightest wear there now from weighing it down trying to get it to play through) & the cover is excellent with minor dent on the upper left corner tip & a very light semi seam split starting on the top middle that is only about 1/2" long & then just a couple of very light hairline 1/2" creases on the edges. This is sold AS IS so be careful re-drilling that hole but I think it can be done pretty easily.

LP SHIPPING + PACKING & VARIOUS INFO:
I use real coated cardboard LP mailers when I ship vinyl & these are very durable. I usually take the records with the inner sleeves out of the covers (unless factory sealed of course) so they don't split the seams of the cover in shipment. Then I put them in a 2 or 3 mil plastic sleeve & then wrap a plastic bag or two around them to keep them from flopping around in the mailer, this method seems to work best since it adds air & almost works like bubble wrap (keeps the LP's usually under a pound & saves a lot on shipping rates worldwide compared to using cardboard inserts), breakage rate has been way less than 1 in 1000 using this method, if I added cardboard it also would make the weight of it more prone to the corners getting dented in transit if dropped. 10" records & 12" singles count as 1 LP for shipping, single laserdiscs count as 2 LP's for shipping (& I pack 2+ records differently & I have oversized boxes for larger packages...don't worry I've been sending out stuff about 5 days a week for over 20 years now & know exactly what I'm doing over here).

All records are BLACK VINYL unless noted & inserts/gatefold covers/posters/custom inner sleeves will be noted in the description if they are included plus promo & cutout marks stated if they are there also. I don't believe in hiding stuff & try to note most everything that should matter to buyers. All 12" vinyl on ebay is automatically listed as 33 1/3 rpm & 7" vinyl as 45 rpm (to save time on listing all this stuff) if you need to confirm speed on a specific item please ask & I can go check.

I tend to run a lot of the same bands/type of music at the same time. Most cleared payments go out within 24 hours. I'm working by myself here so you are only communicating with me & not a bunch of people & I'm at my computer several times a day & rarely miss a day checking emails. So expect quality hands on service. Everything you see on auction & in my store is (physically) here with me (& no middleman shipping ever!).
Most my items I list go on auction first & then if they don't sell to my store within a few days after the auction ends (for usually more than my minimum bid so watch my auctions to get the best prices on most of the items).
