BRIAN JONES/VARIOUS - " BRIAN JONES PRESENTS THE PIPES OF PAN AT JOUJOUKA ", Rolling Stones Records/Toshiba-EMI. Japan (ESS-63009) Stereo, 1971.
Very rare, Japanese issue of the 1971 LP issued on the Stones' own label.
Includes Obi, gatefold sleeve and insert.
Japanese issue and pressing.
NOTE: this record is one of a collection I have just bought from an ex-EMI employee. Generally, these records have hardly been played... many have clearly had no more than a couple of quick test-plays. Even those which have clearly been used a bit more, have very well looked after and only ever played on a good quality, well set up turntable. Please read the condition description below for acurate detail on the condition of this particular LP.
CONDITION:
VINYL = NEAR MINT CONDITION (No scratches, no marks, no groove damage, little or no spindle trails, no surface noise, etc. Even under a bright grading lamp, this LP is free from surface scuffs and any other light visible imperfections. I generally shy away from terms like 'near mint' on eBay, but this record really does look and sound great. I know it's had one test play by me and presumably one or two by it's original owner, but I doubt it's had many more spins in it's entire lifetime.
Note: for the purposes of this listing I have tested this LP on my Linn LP12 Sondek turntable - generally this is quite a critical test, but I must point out that I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable - common sense for most... but then this is ebay!!!)
SLEEVE = EXCELLENT (No rips, tears, creases, defacing, heavy ring-wear, etc. I had to mark it down a bit for a couple of very slight creases along the spine, a couple of slightly grubby marks and some extremly light shelf wear - all from time in storage rather than use and abuse - see photos for further clarification)
NOTE: I must point out that we are actually a long standing physical record shop, with many decades worth of selling, trading and grading records under our collective belts. Unlike so many of the jokers now selling records on ebay, we know how to grade records. Before bidding, please read my description carefully, decide how much this record is worth to you and place you max bid accordingly.
