Description
BOYD BENNETT AND HIS ROCKETS King Records EP-377, released in 1956. This is a 45 rpm record with four songs: "Seventeen;" "Boogie At Midnight;" "Oo-Oo-Oo;" "Little Ole You-All." Vinyl is VG. Sounds great. No skips. Occasional minor surface noise, but very minor. Has some scuffing and marks due to age, but plays through well. Labels are VG+, clean. This record will be shipped with a King Records 45 sleeve. IF YOU CAN FIND THE ORIGINAL PICTURE SLEEVE TO GO ALONG WITH THIS RECORD, YOU'LL HAVE A REALLY VALUABLE COLLECTORS ITEM!! Boyd Bennett and His Rockets were early rock & rockabilly pioneers. This EP release on the King label is becoming difficult to find, especially in this condition. Boyd Bennett was a contemporary of Bill Haley, and their bands performed together often during the early days of rock 'n' roll.
