Description
TITLE/ARTIST: This rare and hard to find 1962 LP is on the original, Stax Label, and is entitled "Green Onions" (after the group's huge hit single), and is by the highly popular and collectible '60's instrumental group, Booker T. And The M.G.'s. The LP includes many other great songs from that time period as well. Please check out all of the photos below---and what an unusual (and sign of the times) cover photo this LP has!! LABEL INFORMATION: As mentioned above, it is on the original, Stax Label, 701, and is in original mono (which probably makes it even more collectible). I see just a couple of spindle marks on this label at all (all on one side)---leading me to believe that the record wasn't played very much, if even at all. VINYL CONDITION: The vinyl is in absolutely beautiful condition, and virtually unplayed----"like new" to my eyes. Really---it looks as good as the day it was first purchased, and may have never even been played at all! It really is that clean and nice! JACKET CONDITION: Just like the vinyl, I see no flaws to report with this cover at all either---again, just about as nice as the day it was 1st purchased some 40 years ago (see photos below). INTERESTING FACTS: You just don't see these original, 1950-60's LP's out there much any more, espiecally in this kind of outstanding condition. In addition, I have other collectible LP's listed in this week's auctions as well---with artists like Gene Vincent, Jack Scott, The Beatles, and more---so please check out my entire site. As I've mentioned before, I'm even beginning to get into my very own, personal collection, so there will be many more original and rare LP's/45's listed in the weeks and months ahead---from the '50's through the '70's, and most are in near mint condition as well.
