Description
This auction is for a copy of the Rock Solid single by Bollweevil, released in 1981 on Ellie Jay Records. The picture sleeve and vinyl are both in excellent condition.

One of the rarest NWOBHM singles. Only 500 were pressed and only 250 had the picture sleeve. This is very raw and energetic NWOBHM. Here’s what the NWOBHM Encyclopedia, by Malc Macmillan, says about it:
”Musically this is top-notch stuff…with Rock Solid careering along at a rip-roaring pace in a distinctly High Treason mode…The contrasting B-side, meanwhile, is a slightly more sedate composition which captures the musicians in a contemplative mood, bringing to mind Cynic’s excellent Suicide single”
