Scarce vintage soul funk LP featuring BOBBY THURSTON on the MAINLINE label out of Washington, D.C., from 1978. 

Title is “Sweetest Piece of the Pie.”  Stereo pressing, catalog number is MAINLINE 12747.   This is a stock copy, label is blue with silver print. 

D.C. soul legend Al Johnson arranged nearly half of the tracks on this killer LP, in addition to handling the keyboards and singing background vocals.

Guaranteed to be original and authentic.   I do not sell boots or modern reissues.

Jacket:  Jacket is nice and clean.  Front art work is nice and bright, with a few slight traces of surface wear beginning to appear.  Reverse is also clean, but shows a bit more surface wear and a bit of minor ring wear starting to appear.  Corners have minor bumps.  Seams and spine are excellent with no splits or problems.  No writing, stickers, or other flaws.  Overall a fine jacket.          

Vinyl:  Beautiful VG++ disc with full brilliant original gloss, appears to have been played a very small number of times and handled with care.  There are a couple slight scuffs that do not affect the playing, except for a few barely audible soft tics at the beginning of Side 2.  No serious marks or problems.  Labels are clean and pristine.  Fidelity is superb as you can hear in the accompanying sound clips.  This is a beauty!
