'Catch Fire' is the debut album by The Wailers and was released in April 1973. The album was recorded at Dynamic Studios, Harry J Studios and Randy's Studios, Kingston, Jamaica and was produced by Chris Blackwell. Many people were attracted to songwriters Marley and Peter Tosh's confrontational subjects and optimistic views of a future free from oppression, whilst others were surprised at the militant tone and socially aware lyrics. The original zippo lighter cover was designed by graphical artists Rod Dyer and Bob Weiner. 'Catch Fire' is regarded as one of the top reggae albums of all time. 

This is album is now 38 years old and in fantastic condition!!! Reggae collectors would love to own one in this amazing condition!!! I've played it on my Pioneer PL 550-X, the sound is amazing! Plays with no distortion or jumps!!! There is a little crackle and a pop on the B side but nothing to spoil a truly wonderful listen. The side hinge is no longer attached, however overall the cover is in very good condition.
