1990 saw the simultaneous release of this 2 LP set and a matching 2 CD set from the German Label Swingin' Pig. Both the CD and LP set contain the same program, and share the same artwork and photos. There were only 250 numbered copies pressed on beautiful clear and/or white based splatter vinyl. The show is from The Boston Garden, Boston, Massachussets, January 14, 1974 (afternoon show) This recording is directly from the soundboard. The tape has been in ciculation since the day of the show, and was released as a double LP by Berkeley entitled  Dylan& The Band Return .  The only problem has been that the tape was a little noisy. Swingin' Pig has addressed the problem by digital filtering with the NoNoise system. The recording sounds better than ever. Still not fantastic, but definitely worthy of this reissue. Unlike most incredible packages from this Label, this one is rather simple black and white with two vintage photos. The performance is an average one for this tour.

DESCRIPTION: This is the most perfect of Bootlegs I have ever owned in my opinion. I love Multicolour Vinyl, here you have a white based one, and a translucent Record, with the gorgeous SPLATTER pattern.This comes with the William Stout Original Inner sleeves, and these records have genuinely never been played, there is still little burrs of Vinyl inside the centre hole to show a spindle has never been pushed through.To think only 250 ever got made, this one, number 069 surely has no other better out there? If anyone normal has one, they would not be keen to sell it I am sure.

Vinyl: Mint condition, Genuinely, the first time I have ever been able to say that about a 24 year old LP, actually 2 LP's.No need to expand and tell you how they have never been to a party, etc, they are simply unplayed, and have been stored well, and kept clean and dust free, these records have been treated with respect.I never had the need to play them, I have the music on other formats, but I would be curious to hear that Sonic Solutions used some digital mastery to improve the sound quality of this over previous releases, I don't think they altered anything, but reduced nasty non musical noise.

Sleeve: MINT, I cannot fault this. The inner sleeves are Mint, I nearly graded Near Mint, as I saw some light stains, but what it actually is, is the glue between the inner bag and the outer paper sleeve, in proper uniform dots. I can't resist raving over this one, here goes, it's never been to a party, no need to upgrade, museum quality, WOW Super-duper-fantastic. I don't like to get over excited, but this really is as good as it gets.

After this, my December sale, I won't have many more bootlegs for sale, I may well sell some of my Official CBS, Columbia and Sony LP's. I do have a load of CD's, rare stuff included, but they are not taking up space for the moment, records will go first.

I wish to thank people who have bought a large part of my Bob Dylan collection over the past 4 months with the Bootlegs, and the past 2 years with much other stuff, on and off of Ebay. I did not want to get rid of any of it, but when I get to know people, even in a small way, and form an opinion that I like those people, I am pleased that my records went their way. I know none of them come cheap, I get my reward in Cash, but I take my comfort thinking that these fantastic records go to somebody who must want them, or they would not have bid for them. Thankyou people, you have freed some worries from my mind.

COMBINED POSTAGE. I always try and reduce postage costs for multiple items, if you intend to buy more than one LP from me, please DO NOT PAY FOR ANYTHING until you have finished bidding on all items. I have limited time at night, I aim to get things shipped next morning, it makes hard work when I have to start issueing refunds for postage, seeking email addresses to use Paypal, repacking, weighing, wasting tape, and spoiling mailers. I can't send more than 2 kilos in one go outside of U.K. as a guide, 4 LP's is around the limit to combine.Let me know when you finish buying more than one record and want them packed, I will pack, weigh, then invoice you.Box sets can't always be combined with other records dependant on the packing I need to use, I will always offer the best deal I find possible.

CONDITION:

All Items are Graded As In The Record Collector 2006 Price Guide,in Brief these grades are as follows:

 

Mint-Unplayed,sealed or as good as an unplayed undamaged item,.

Excellent-Some signs the record has been played,very little lessening in sound quality.The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good-Been Played many times,no major deterioration in sound,despite noticeable surface marks,occational light scratch.Normal wear & tear on the cover or extra items,without major defect is acceptable.

Good-Played so much,used so much,sounds bad,many problems such as splits,stains etc.

Fair-Just Playable-not nice.

TRACKS ARE: Probably available on Google.Also if I have made scans of labels or sleeve,click to supersize,and read them that way.

I don't use Postage to make money.I try and weigh the parcels before I list the items and add packing cost to the postage cost.Sometimes I can't weigh 1st(Usually if I have to make a home-made parcel for odd sized items)and if I do that,I will make my best educated guess of the postage cost,but I don't often pack home made parcels before the bidding ends,because many people want to ask questions,so sometimes,I could be a little out.I do pack in secure parcels.
