On Offer is a very rare LP by Bob Dylan self Titled “ Bob Dylan “ this is an original debut LP first pressing on the CBS rough textured orange label with 33 RPM.

This LP is seriously rare especially in this condition it virtually impossible to find this Stereo LP at all but nearly impossible to find one in this condition 48 years after it first release. This is the Ultra Rare Stereo pressing hardly any produced and only a handful of the earliest pressings. This really is one of his rarest UK releases.

EARLIEST PRESSING ROUGH TEXTURED ORANGE CBS LABELS ( ALL LATER PRESSINGS WHERE ON GLOSS LABELS ) VERY RARE FIRST PRESSING 33 RPM ( ALL SUBSEQUENT RELEASES HAD 33 1/3 RPM ) VERY LIMITED PRESS OF THESE EARLY LABELS. ALSO MEGA RARE STEREO NEARLY ALL RELEASES OF THIS TIME WHERE RECORDED IN MONO.

EARLIEST POSSIBLE MATRIX NUMBERS SBPG 62022 A / SBPG 62022 B ONLY A HANDFUL OF PRESSINGS CARRIED THESE FIRST MATRIX NUMBERS  I HAVE NEVER SEEN A / B  BEFORE. I DOUBT IT HAS BEEN PLAYED THERE IS NO SPINDLE WEAR AT ALL  THE LABELS ARE PRISTINE.

THE LAMINATED SLEEVE IS SUPERB VERY FIRST STEREO RELEASE WITH STEREO ARROWS FRONT AND REAR LIGHTEST OF EDGE WEAR LOVELY AND CLEAN THE REAR FLIPBACK SLEEVE IS ALSO VERY CLEAN WITH 2 VERY LIGHT  STAINS THE FLIPBACKS ARE PERFECTLY INTACT .THE BOXED SPINE IS CRISP AND CLEARLY LEGIBLE.WITH PRINTED BY GARROD AND LOFTHOUSE LTD PATENTS PENDING.

This  really is a very rare find in this condition and has had virtually no play with all the first Dylan UK release characteristics with mega rare first pressing matrix numbers in near impossible to find Stereo. As stated only a small amount where pressed in Stereo and this is defiantly one of the very first pressings of this Iconic LP. There is  virtually no wear and has been extremely well cared for since new. Nearly all these early sixties LP’s have been well played and show severe signs of aging this is an Excellent example and a great addition to any collection.

The record retains its original just pressed look with little whispiest wear under a strong light where it has been removed from its sleeve with mp Pops Skips or Jumps and barely audible background hiss superb sound quality.

I really don’t believe I have overstated this record this is the best I have ever seen in 40 years of collecting it is a credit to any collection and must rade it Excellent.

These very rare early Stereo records in this condition just do not come up for sale this is a real chance to own a piece of music history that will certainly only grow in value it is superb.

MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

NEAR MINT The record shows the smallest of signs of use, such as spindle marks or light paper scuffs, but there is no lessening to sound quality. The cover and packaging may have the lightest of wear around the edges, but nothing as serious as ring wear.

EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
