BOB DYLAN – SAVED b/w ARE YOU READY? – VERY RARE COMMERCIAL LABEL VERSION - Columbia 1-11370 (U.S. 45 rpm Stereo). Disc is VG+ (Saved) and VG++ (Ready); Labels are Near Mint (Saved) and Near Mint Minus (Ready); comes with generic Columbia black & white paper outer sleeve, which is VG+.

For reasons which are, at this point, unclear, commercial label issues of Saved/Are You Ready? are much more difficult to find than their white label promo counterparts. At the time of this single’s release in America, promos were fairly abundant, but commercial label issues were almost nonexistent. They are still not widely available (check your stash, Dylan collectors) and continue to be difficult to come by. One reason for this might be that the saturation of white label promos and the subsequent negative reviews afforded the single, may have caused Columbia to recall commercial issues when they didn’t sell. [Due to their faster turning speed and wider groove spread, 45 rpm pressings exhibit more detailed playback than LP pressings, which turn slower and feature more compacted groove spread.]

All vinyl records from VinylKing46 (eBay’s ORIGINAL VINYLKING) are pre-cleaned and inserted into paper inner sleeves before mailing to Buyer (unless factory sealed). Discs are packaged separately from sleeves to protect against seam splitting. Sleeves are inserted into mylar outer sleeves and both disc and sleeve are shipped in 7” EP/45-specific boxes and packed with bubble wrap or hard cardboard.

I grade conservatively and by Goldmine standards.
