BOB DYLAN Positively 4th Street U.S. Promo 45 Miss-press plays Can You Please Crawl Out Your Window
You're bidding on a Extremely Rare White Label Promotional Copy of the Bob Dylan single: Positively 4th Street
b/w From A Buick 6 issued on polystyrene by Columbia Records 4-43389 in the U.S. in 1965. What makes this
pressing so rare is that someone at Columbia Records made a Big Screw-up and pulled the wrong tape for Side
One. Instead of playing Positively 4th Street, the A-Side plays a early slower version of Can You Please Crawl
Out Your Window which was take 17 recorded at Columbia Recording Studios on July 30th,1965. Not only was
this the wrong song, it was even the wrong take of the song that became Bob's next single. Once this mistake
was realized, all promo and commercial copies were quickly withdrawn and the correct track was substituted on
all subsequent copies. The matrix # in the run-out grooves read: Side 1-ZSP 111386-1C, Side 2-ZSP 111387-1C.
The condition of the A-Side is Mint- with No scratches or marks of any kind. The B-Side is Excellent with just a
few extremely light surface lines. Both sides sound amazing with No Pops,Ticks or Groove Wear of any kind.
The labels are also Perfect with No writing, tears or rub marks. You'd be hard pressed to find a better copy of this
Incredibly Rare Dylan 45. Here's a chance to get another "Holy Grail" record for your Bob Dylan collection !
