The front photograph is by Columbia staff photographer Len Siegler, from August or September 1970. Like Self Portrait, neither Dylan's name, the album title or even a CBS logo/catalogue number appear on the front of the sleeve. The rear picture shows Dylan with Victoria Spivey at Cue Recording Studio New York, 2nd March 1962

New Morning expands on the laid-back country-rock of John Wesley Harding and Nashville Skyline by adding a more pronounced rock & roll edge.
While there maybe are only a few genuine classics on the record ("If Not for You," "One More Weekend" and the title track immediately come to mind), the overall quality however, is very high, and many of the songs explore idiosyncratic routes Dylan had previously left untouched, whether it's the experiments of "Sign on the Window" and "Winterlude", the rambling spoken word piece "If Dogs Run Free" or the Elvis parable "Went to See the Gypsy."
Such offbeat songs make New Morning a charming, endearing record.

Clean, bright and factory-fresh labels with one/two light spindle traces on each side

Unmarked, the record shines like-new (even under a bright light there are hardly any wispy hairlines to be seen)
VINYL Audio: MINT-
My play-check at loud volume revealed no audio issues whatsoever - the sound performance is crystal clear, clean, sharp and bright and the record plays beautifully throughout
SLEEVE: EXCELLENT
Very nice condition with just a small patch of fading to the front (top corner) where the original price sticker was removed and a little corner bumping/opening edge rubbing otherwise, a fine example and all spine text is clear and bold
