Description
BOB DYLAN – MIXED UP CONFUSION b/w CORRINA, CORRINA – Columbia 4-42656 (U.S. 45 rpm Mono)
. Disc is VG+; playback is Near Mint Range (Mixed Up) and VG++ (Corrina); Labels are Near Mint Minus.
Released December 14, 1962, this is Label Variant No. 3 (with “Produced by John Hammond” below Columbia Eye Logo and 45 RPM legend on left hand side) and is considered quite rare. Some say this 3rd variant is more difficult to find than the prior 2, as fewer numbers may have been pressed (the single was not successful and more copies of the promo may have been released than the actual commercial version). This is the original Mono version, different from that appearing on Biograph, which is in Stereo. The version of Corrina, Corrina found here is an alternate take to that from the Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan LP or CD. [Due to their faster turning speed and wider groove spread, 45 rpm pressings exhibit more detailed playback than LP pressings, which turn slower and feature more compacted groove spread.]
All vinyl records from VinylKing46 (eBay’s ORIGINAL VINYLKING) are pre-cleaned and inserted into paper inner sleeves before mailing to Buyer (unless factory sealed). Discs are packaged separately from sleeves to protect against seam splitting. Sleeves are inserted into mylar outer sleeves and both disc and sleeve are shipped in 7” EP/45-specific boxes and packed with bubble wrap or hard cardboard.
