BOB DYLAN HIGHWAY 61 REVISITED COLUMBIA CS 9189
I am selling the collection of my friend who is, being a fan of Bob Dylan, was collecting the records for a long time, selecting each example very carefully. Please see the other Bob Dylan's records currently listed on my auction. Extraordinarily rare true rarity masterpiece and holy grail for Bob Dylan collectors. 1st promotional stereo US press with the 1st A1-A1 matrix stampers on both sides and ultra rare alternative with a different longer featuring prolonged harmonica introduction, which can be exclusively found only on the super early 1st Stereo (Not Mono or any other official releases!) pressings. The front cover of this promo edition includes three stickers: hype sticker promoting Bob Dylan's new hit song "LIKE A ROLLING STONE", sticker informing that this promotional edition has a "...A Striking Portrait Suitable for Framing" and a demo sticker "For Demonstration Use Only" at the bottom left corner underneath the shrinkwrap. Back cover contains a promo edition poster with an original graphic black and white portrait of Bob Dylan made on thick textured paper. I pulled the poster a little bit towards the mouth in order to be sure that this the very first cover variation having the misprint "Meaningful", which was changed to "Meaningless" in a short amount of time. Some super light age spots and yellowing on the edges of the cover and poster, a light sign of ring wear at the bottom of the front cover. Fully intact shrink with only one light split at the top right of the back cover. Very first Columbia Records labels with "Nonbreakable" text, which is missing on the second release, under the catalog number CS 9189. Side 1 Label contains a "For Demonstration Use Only" sticker, analogous to the one located on the front cover under the shrinkwrap. Very light spindle wear that can be seen only under certain lighting conditions. Overall, wear-free red label.  The full matrix numbers are as follows: o  XSM110640-1A  P (Side 1) / o  XSM110641-1A  P (Side 2). The vinyl was pressed at the Pitman pressing plant in New Jersey as the P stamp can be seen on both sides of the vinyl in the dead wax. Glossy vinyl with some surface scuffs and hairlines that do not affect the playback.
