IMPORTANT DETAILS...
We are an eBay seller specializing in Vinyl of all types and genres. We sell a few other things but mostly VINYL, through which we have built up much of our great feedback over the last six years.
Vinyl or otherwise, we try to thoroughly research, describe, and document everything we list, and describe and assess the condition of all items conservatively, with pertinent notation. Any prospective bidder should take a look at the feedback pages for all of our eBay user profiles: eboy_noho1, eboy_noho2, and eboy_noho3, and bid with confidence, as many hundreds of other satisfied eBayers have done over the past six years. Thanks for looking and good luck!
Important notes and details below... General Seller Info: Back to Top We hope that a quick review of our feedback page will reassure any potential bidder of our integrity and conscientiousness as a seller.
We try to research our items thoroughly, and extensively document them both verbally and/or photographically in our listings, so that prospective buyers can make informed decisions about bidding. When we are short on knowledge for any particular item, we say so, and try to refrain from any subjective assessment of the item, preferring instead to let the facts and photos speak for themselves. We do encourage and welcome questions.
The images in each listing should give bidders a general idea of the appearance and quality of an item. None of the images has been altered in any way, and the images you see in each listing depict the actual item being auctioned unless noted otherwise.
The condition and the history of an item are obviously very important factors in determining the quality and desirablity of an item. Where photos do not speak for themselves, we describe and grade items conservatively. If you have questions about anything, PLEASE ASK!
Well do our best to answer all questions, but please submit questions well before the auction's end to allow a timely response.
Shipping / Packing: Back to Top Please see the item description for shipping details and costs. In most cases, buyers will pay actual shipping costs plus a small upcharge for packing/handling. We will not gouge you on shipping.
We will pack everything securely with quality packing materials and methods. This however does not preclude damage in every case. Insurance is recommended on all packages, as we cannot be responsible for any items damaged (or lost) in the mail. All buyers should purchase insurance (if available) for their security. If your uninsured package is lost/broken in the mail, we would feel terrible, but you would not get a refund. If an insured package is lost/broken, the buyer will collect on the insurance. We will provide buyer with our insurance documentation to enable the buyer to collect.
FOR LP's:
We ship worldwide!
Inside the USA you have a choice of Priority or Media Mail, the prices for each should be noted in the listing.
International rates for Vinyl should also be noted in the listing. If you need a quote, please ask.
We pack everything we ship in a secure manner, with NEW custom LP mailers and plastic sleeves, with the record packed outside of the cover.
Payment: Back to Top We will contact the winning bidder of each auction via email or send an invoice within 24 hours of the auction's end. If you have won only one item, you can pay immediately through PayPal. If you have won more than one item, please wait for the invoice with shipping totals.
We accept payment in the form of Cashier s Checks, Money Orders, or CASH via secured mail. All payment must be in U.S. currency. We do not accept personal checks.
We reserve the right to relist items if no contact can be made with the winner within 7 days.
Refunds / Returns Back to Top Our refund policy differs from item to item. We will give full refunds including shipping for any LP or 45 if you are not happy with it. In general, we will absolutely give full refunds INCLUDING the buyer s initial shipping costs in any case of factual mistakes, oversight, or accidental misrepresentation on our part. The buyer however must first return the item to us fully intact. No refund will be given for postal damage during shipment to, or returning from buyer (see SHIPPING/PACKING).
Aside from Records, refunds will not be given on the basis of subjective disagreements over the grading of an item. If we are not well versed in the grading of a particular type of item, we will let the images and facts we are sure of speak for themselves, and withhold as much as possible the subjective assessment of quality.
Note that certain items are sold as is with no returns / refunds. If this is the case it will be stated in the item description.
Vinyl Grading (LP's, 45's, 78's): Back to Top For all items except VINYL, please see the listing text for grading / condition information.
VINYL GRADING SYSTEM: We grade Records conservatively based on a system of 1-10 with pertinent notation. Assume that all grading is visual unless otherwise noted:
[10] is unopened and looks fairly untouched.
[9] vinyl appears to be unplayed. Cover might show slight signs of handling or age.
[8] has a few light marks on lustreous vinyl which are assumed to produce little or no sigificant noise (visual inspection only). Cover has some clear signs of handling and/or age and maybe a mild version of one or two of the defects listed under 6 below.
[7] will show several light marks and/or scuffs and/or scratches, some of which will probably produce intermittent audible noise which may or may not be heard thru the music. Cover shows a combination of mild symptoms of the defects listed under 6 below.
[6] shows some general wear on vinyl including some loss of lustre and scuffs and light scratching. It is assumed that some of these marks will produce noise which can be heard thru the music. Overall this is an obviously flawed but enjoyable play. Cover will show some of the following: edge wear/scaling, seam splits, ring wear/rub, bent corners, creases, graphic blemishes, stickers present and/or removed.
[5] will show general scuffing and scratching on vinyl, with noise almost throughout yet playable (I will play grade these). Cover shows many aggravated symptoms of the defects listed under 6 above. 5 is the lowest I will sell for LP's, and only in cases of special interest or rarity. I WILL sell 45's in this condition and less.
