On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Bob Dylan called "Bob Dylan" and is an ORIGINAL 1962 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press 'Textured' CBS label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS WAS BOB DYLAN'S FIRST & RAREST LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1962 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN THE UK - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT, IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL - IS THAT IT IS QUITE LITERALLY THE 'EARLIEST' UK 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - WITH ONLY 500 COPIES EVER PRESSED!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  IN FACT, THIS LP IS PROBABLY THE RAREST EVER BOB DYLAN LP ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD TODAY!!!!  WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN THE UK IN 1962, NO ONE HAD A CLUE WHO BOB DYLAN WAS.  HE HADN'T HAD ANY HITS, HIS MUSIC WASNT PLAYED ON THE RADIO, AND HE WAS JUST ANOTHER OBSCURE FOLK ARTIST RELEASED ON THE CBS LABEL, WHICH WAS QUICKLY CONFINED TO THE BARGAIN BINS, AND IMMEDIATE DELETION!!!!  IN FACT, THIS LP WASNT RE-PRESSED FOR AT LEAST 1 FULL YEAR AFTER RELEASE, IN LATE 1963 / EARLY 1964.  HOWEVER THOSE RE-PRESSINGS LOOK RADICALLY DIFFERENT.  BUT THIS ONE IS A 100% GENIUNE 'DAY OF RELEASE' UK 1ST PRESSING FROM 1962 - AND WITH ONLY 500 COPIES EVER MADE, IT IS TRULY ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE!!!! 

I WILL NOW EXPLAIN WHAT MAKES THIS LP A 'TRUE' UK 1ST PRESSING (AND WHY IT IS MISSING FROM ALMOST EVERY BOB DYLAN COLLECTION IN THE WORLD TODAY):-

1) CBS DID NOT HAVE THEIR OWN UK PRESSING PLANT IN THE UK UNTIL 1965 - AND SO THIS LP WAS 1ST PRESSED BY PHILIPS (LATER ONES WERENT!).

2) THE LABELS HAVE A TINY CENTRAL RIDGE, '33' LABEL TEXT, A 'THICKER' CBS LOGO, AND HAVE AN 'EMBOSSED' OT TAX CODE ON 1 LABEL (LATER ONES DONT!).

3) THE MATRIXES END IN 2L/1 AND 1L/2 - THE VERY FIRST UK MONO MATRIXES (LATER ONES DONT!)

4) THE LABEL PRINT IS RADICALLY DIFFERENT IN PRINTING STYLE - WITH THICKER BOLD TEXT AND JUSTIFIED TO THE LEFT.  THIS LABEL WAS ONLY EVER USED IN 1962 ONLY!  ANY OTHER TYPEFACE IS FROM 1963/64 OR LATER!

5) THE TRACK 'YOU'RE NO GOOD' IS CORRECTLY SPELT ON THE LABELS!!!!  THIS IS THE ONLY UK MONO PRESSING THAT EXISTS LIKE THIS!!!!  AFTER THIS LP WAS DELETED AFTER RELEASE - WHEN IT WAS RE-PRESSED IN LATE 1963 THE TRACK WAS INCORRECTLY SPELT 'SHES NO GOOD' INSTEAD!!!!  AND INCREDIBLY THIS INCORRECT SPELLING LASTED FROM 1963 RIGHT THROUGH TO THE MID 1970s!!!!  ONLY 1962 UK 1ST PRESSINGS HAVE THE CORRECT SPELLING OF THIS TRACK ON THE LABELS - ALL LATER RE-PRESSINGS AND RE-ISSUES DO NOT!!!!

7) THE FLIPBACKS ARE FLAT TO THE COVER BACK AND VERY THIN (LATER ONES DONT) AND THE COVER MANUFACTURER IS UNCREDITED (LATER ONES ARE!).

8) THE LABELS HAVE 'FIRST PUBLISHED' TEXT (LATER ONES DONT!).

9) THE CAT NUMBER IS PRINTED ON THE COVER FRONT (REMOVED ON LATER PRESSINGS!).

ONLY UK 1ST PRESSINGS FROM THE 'DAY OF RELEASE' BACK IN 1962 HAVE EVERY SINGLE 1ST PRESS DETAIL LISTED ABOVE!!!!  EVEN IF YOU ARE MISSING 1 DETAIL FROM THE LIST ABOVE - YOU HAVE A RE-ISSUE FROM 1963/64 ONWARDS!!!!  ONLY 500 'DAY OF RELEASE' UK MONO 1ST PRESSINGS WERE EVER MADE - AND IS THIS EASILY THE VERY RAREST BOB DYLAN 'RELEASE' LP ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD TODAY!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT, BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION - WITH A STUNNING RECORD!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1962 UK MONO 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'TEXTURED' CBS LABEL, EVERY SINGLE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS DETAIL LISTED ABOVE, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'UNCREDITED' FLIPBACK LAMINATED 'PATENTS PENDING' MONO COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL CBS UK 1st Pressing from 1962 and is in GREAT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is BPG 62022 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press CBS label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASN'T BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in absolutely SUPERB condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable.  This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, only 2 or 3 absolutely ULTRA light surface traces, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  The record is also slightly uneven - though this is minor (NO sharp warps, and NO sideways movement!) and any system will easily track it!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS SUPERB!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!!  SUPERB RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!!  Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Uncredited' Flipback Laminated 'Patents Pending' MONO Cover is in GREAT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear, NO splits, only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), NO rips, NO tears, shiny laminate, NO stickers, only some VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the corners, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL (with some possible marginal evidence of trimming here - though this doubtful)!!!!  Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in GREAT condition with NO sticker marks, only VERY slight rubbing, NO sticker tears, barely ANY yellowing, NO grubbyness, VERY nice flipbacks (apart from a TINY crease to the top right corner flipback!), and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - and is still a very VERY decent cover indeed!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS (ESPECIALLY AS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
