Broadside magazine was a small publication that was dedicated to spreading around the latest topical, social and political songs by New York City songwriters. This was their first [only?] LP record. It features 3 tracks by BOB DYLAN under the guise of BLIND BOY GRUNT [after all, he was under contract to Columbia Records at the time]. They include the great anti-war screed "JOHN BROWN" [credits read: Written by BOB DYLAN, sung by BLIND BOY GRUNT!], along with "ONLY A HOBO" and "TALKING DEVIL"! Very RARE stuff! There is also an early version of "BLOWIN' IN THE WIND" by The New World Singers that kicks off the record! The booklet includes the lyrics to the songs.
