Description

Very rare and highly sought after LP by Bob Azzam released on Swedish Columbia in 1968, SSX 10335, Stereo. I am quite sure that the Swedish pressing is the first and rarest one. It was also released in Canada (any more?) in 1969 on Audio Fidelity. Personally I have always found European pressings superior to the US ones. This record comes from a find of supposedly unplayed records (they sure look like it) and has been played once since - from start to finish without skipping between songs (recording it onto the pc - SCROLL DOWN TO LISTEN!). The sleeve used to be in pristine condition, but I got bumped into by this quite obnoxious lady on the subway. This left three light marks at the opening (see scan with the very artistic red arrows) and slightly bent corners that are hard to notice - at the opening. Otherwise the sleeve is in amazing condition. Even with these flaws it is most likely to be the best copy you will ever see. Matrix is machine stamped (YSX 1020) and the sleeve is laminated. Record is M-, sleeve grades EX+.

I have the entire LP recorded, but have picked the tracks that I think should be of interest. All in all the LP has 12 tracks. Here you have 8 of them:

BERIMBAU - one of the best versions.

TRICKY SOUL

RAIN, RAIN, GO AWAY

TEA FOR TWO

THE LAST TIME

THE STORY OF MY LIFE - Great Dutronc cover

MR. LOVIN' LUGGAGE MAN - Great pop psych

SWAY
