CONDITION (Record/Cover) : VG+/VG+

COMMENT : Beautiful original Swedish issue from 1968. Very first pressing of this sough after LP which came out one year later in the U.S. and Canada with a different sleeve under the title "Bob Azzam & The Great Expectation". This original Swedish press is rarer, by far hardest to find, and it contains 12 tracks whereas the american issue contains 10 songs. Includes the legendary cover of Allen Toussaint's "Rain, Rain, Go Away" with its fat drum breaks, the rough hammond funk dancer "Tricky Soul", a great version of the brazilian club track "Berimbau", as well as probably the grooviest version of "Tea For Two" ever, funky beat on "Mrs Wilson", and other  60's beat tracks, such as a superb cover of the Rolling Stones "The Last Time".

The vinyl is clean and shiny, it presents a few marks, light scuffs, it plays and sounds well. The laminated sleeve is in clean condition but presents some creasing on corners, mainly on the top left one.

M- = Record in new condition, never played or looking like it. Sleeve as new..

EX = Record in superb condition, very rarely played, may present slight visible marks but no audible ones. Sleeve may present slight signs of natural aging.

VG+ = Record is really nice, may present a few visible marks which are slightly audible. Sleeve may present a few flaws like light openings, ringwear...

VG = Record has been played often, presents some visible and audible marks. Sleeve shows noticeable defects like heavy split seam, tears...

VG- = Record doesn't look nice because of general wear, it is in playable condition, but some/all tracks are noisy or click. Sleeve has noticeable general wear.
