Description
BOA CONSTRICTOR & A NATURAL VINE – “self-titled” (1968) Vanguard Apastolic-6511 original pressing VG+/EX (cover/record)
Beautiful folk-psych by George Figgs and Ben Syfu from Baltimore recorded while in Maine during a trip up the east coast. This is pastoral and beautiful and trippy and at times off kilter. There is some amazing genre music in these grooves including “Little David” "Devil and the Ace of Spades," and “Pig Quicksilver.” Beautiful pastoral acoustic guitar, tape loops, haunting sax - great vibes with some blues influences. Saw someone describe them as a precursor to The Black Keys! I wouldn't go there, but this is really cool. Super cool psychedelic cover art too. Never see this!
This is an original pressing. The cover slight ring wear mainly on the back cover and a 6-inc seam split on the top seam from the jacket opening in. The vinyl has some light sleeve scuffs but is super clean and glossy and plays great. Conservative grading: VG+/EX (cover/record).
Winner pays postage. Domestic U.S. shipping is $4 media rate or $10 for priority mail (insurance additional and quoted at cost). International first class shipping (7-10 day delivery) varies by postal zone. Please see the listing for specific costs.
I package all LPs securely in record mailers and remove the vinyl from the covers to prevent seam splits during mailing. I do not just stick your record in a priority mailer box from the post office or between two thin pieces of cardboard with no additional packaging materials like so many others!!!
I accept Paypal for all transactions and other methods of payment we can discuss - just send me a message.
Thanks for looking, and good luck!
