RARE!! ORIGINAL ACETATE DISK
WIKIPEDIA'S DEFINITION OF AN ACETATE DISK:
An acetate disc (also known as a test acetate, lacquer, or transcription disc) is a type of gramophone record that is recorded directly from an audio source. Although acetates can be made from any audio source, they are typically produced from a master tape recording for testing the quality of the tape-to-disc transcription. A typical acetate disc is an aluminum disc, 10 or 12 inches in diameter, that is covered with a thin coating of nitrocellulose lacquer in which the sound groove is cut. Discs of this type can be played on any normal phonograph, but wear out very quickly. Some acetates are highly prized for their rarity.
This is an acetate disk of "New Day," an unreleased single from the legendary Blossom Toes. Recorded at the end of their career in 1969, this single was never officially issued, and it's a kicker!!! At over 5 minutes long, this track builds into a wonderfully anthemic, feel-good ballad! Here we've included just a snippet of the song to give you an idea of what to expect.

Please note: we only played the disk twice to record it.
The track number, as you can see in the photo, is T71210. There is only one track on the disk lasting around 5 and a half minutes. The other side does not have music.
