On offer here is a very VERY rare UK ACETATE by The Blossom Toes. This is a COMPLETE and ORIGINAL 1st Acetate of their 1st LP 'We Are Ever So Clean' and is a MONO pressing. This was the 1st COMPLETE acetate and I do know for a 100% fact this is UNIQUE. HOWEVER THIS ACETATE IS VERY VERY SPECIAL INDEED FOR TWO REASONS. FIRSTLY ALL THE TRACKS ARE IN A TOTALLY DIFFERENT ORDER TO THE RELEASED LP. BUT MUCH MUCH MORE IMPORTANTLY THERE IS A UNIQUE TRACK AT THE END OF THIS LP THAT HAS NEVER EVER BEEN RELEASED AND HAS NEVER BEEN HEARD BEFORE!!!!

THIS HAS TO BE THE RAREST PSYCH ACETATE EVER TO BE OFFERED FOR SALE!!!! THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT EVER FINDS OF ALL TIME!!!! LET ME EXPLAIN WHY:- On this Acetate there are 7 tracks on Side 1 and 8 Tracks on Side 2 - just like the released LP. HOWEVER on this acetate the track 'Track For Speedy Freaks (or Instant LP Digest)' is missing - and in its place is a UNIQUE NEVER RELEASED track 'Everybodys Talking'!!!! This is NOT the Harry Nillson track - it is a STUNNING psych track with a STUNNING guitar solo intro and quite alot of fake crowd noise at the end. It is an AWESOME track with a great rhythm and EASILY surpasses other tracks in quality on the LP. Clearly - for whatever the reason the track was dropped and replaced. It DOES NOT appear on any singles, and DID not appear on their later LP. There is also plenty of old different written text (see pictures) by engineers, producers, and other writing on the plain cover of the acetate - relating to this 'dropped' track. The track is named in this text as 'Everybodys Talking' - and there is plenty of hand written text on both sides of the plain cover relating to the track and the acetate. On one side of the cover it says 'Blossom Toes Finished LP' - then the word 'Finished' has been crossed though and there is some faint pencil text which says 'No 2/8 Replaced - No Good'. On the other side of the cover there is some text saying 'NO 2/8' and then in smaller worn writing 'rep 2/8 Everybodys Talking with new idea - makes for EZ LP - rep Instant LP Digest same length after!'. Clearly the 2/8 refers to the position on the acetate (last track on side 2) of the NEVER released track!!!! This text seems to imply that the track was dropped because of the length of the LP - although this could have been a guess by some engineer working on the LP at the time. Clearly though - someone made the decision to drop the track - but why this track was dropped is a complete mystery!!!! IT IS STUNNING!!!! And REMEMBER - this track is UNIQUE and was NOT released and CAN NOT BE FOUND anywhere else but on this acetate (I will offer a FULL refund if this is NOT the case)!!!! THIS IS A VERY VERY RARE ACETATE WITH A GENIUNE NEVER BEFORE RELEASED TRACK!!!!! THIS MUST BE CLASSED AS ONE OF THE GREAT 'LOST' TRACKS FROM THE PSYCH ERA!!!! YOU CANNOT GET THIS TRACK ANYWHERE ELSE - EVER!!!! AND YOU WILL BE AMAZED WHEN YOU HEAR IT!!!! DO NOT MISS THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!

The 1967 UK acetate is a VERY thick quality pressing. There is NO cat number (which shows this is a VERY early acetate) - although on the labels (see pictures) it is clearly typed POLYDOR/MARMALADE and I.B.C. Sound Recording Studios - and the recording studios address. The name of the group, the speed, the record company names and the Sides are ALL hand typed (see pictures of the labels) and the STUNNING red labels are in great condition with just a small 'nick' out of one of them on one side - though take a look at the pictures - THEY ARE STUNNING!!!!

Most of these early 1960s Acetates are carelessly treated (especially ones that were unreleased) and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT though the acetate itself is not in the best condition overall (although the UNIQUE UNRELEASED track is in STUNNING condition) and was perhaps left lying around out of its sleeve. There are quite a few hairlines, scuffs, imperfections and other marks all over the record. MERCIFULLY however the UNRELEASED and UNIQUE track is located on the inside grooves (the eighth track - 2/8) of Side 2 and it has escaped most of the marking and as a result plays STUNNINGLY!!!! AND REMEMBER - you can get ANY other other track on this acetate on a normal 1st MONO LP - BUT YOU CANNOT GET THE UNRELEASED TRACK - which plays STUNNINGLY with only a couple of low level clicks, and some VERY low level surface noise WELL below the music. The UNRELEASED track must play grade EASILY Very Good if not better!!!! The general state of the acetate is not up to the same standard - and though most other tracks to play though with NO jumps, some do and there is some surface noise and pops particularly on the outer tracks. BUT PLEASE DO NOT FORGET THAT IT IS THE UNRELEASED TRACK THAT MATTERS MOST ON THIS ACETATE - IT PLAYS BRILLIANTLY AND IS TOTALLY UNIQUE!!!! YOU CANNOT GET IT ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!! The acetate overall can only be graded as Fair (though the unreleased and UNIQUE track - plays perfectly though and is much MUCH better than this - it play grades at VG if not better!!!!). This MEGA RARE Acetate also comes in its ORIGINAL plain brown cover which is in GREAT condition with the hand written text as mentioned earlier!!!! TAKE A LOOK AT MY INCREDIBLE PICTURES OF THE COVER, THE CLOSE UP TEXT, THE LABELS AND ACETATE!!!!
