Description

BLIZZARDS - I'M YOUR GUY. Extremely rare first pressing from Germany. Original release with stamped matrix numbers (see photo) and laminated front cover. PROMO-pressing (see photos). Fontana 885 424 TY.

Garage Monster from Germany. Just listen to "Dr. Jekyll" and you know what I mean. Other killer tracks include the wild "Mr. Goofy" or "I'm Your Guy", some more beaty stuff like the great "Faithless Sleep", the fantastic surf instrumental "Blizzards" and lots of other great tunes.

Record: very good. Record has many light surface scratches, but nothing too deep or seriously affecting the sound quality. It plays without repeating pops or distortions and of course without any skips or repeats. The record sounds still very clean and has a great and powerful sound for full listening pleasure. Its not mint, but plays really great and may therefore be still a keeper copy.

Cover: very good-. Generally the cover is in very nice shape. All edges still being fully intact, no bumped corners and not even a slight hint of ringwear. Unfortunately the cover has got some water damage on the backside giving the lower end of the cover some yellowing (ca. 9 cms high from the cover bottom). The cover also is a little "wavy". The last thing to mention is that the cover may have stuck to another cover, so it has 4-5 light tears, that have been restored with black and grey paint (see photo). But this has been done very carefully, so the paint has not run into the paper. This all sounds much more dramatic than it is. In sum, the cover is still very nice.

Please look at my other auctions. Theres many rare and collectible stuff (Beat, Psych and Garage).

Strict Grading: mint/mint-/excellent/very good+/very good/very good-/good/worn/poor. (NO mint-- oder very good++ or something like that!)

A record graded as mint/mint, looks and plays as new! A record graded as good/good is still worth collecting and has no serious damages. Records that are manipulated on ("buffed" or "skimmed" records) are graded as "worn" in the best case.
