Description
BLIND MELON SOUP LP original 1995 vinyl pressing.
I grade based on the goldmine standard. I will almost NEVER use a NM rating, as I feel those ratings are for LP's played a handful of times and shelved. This is nearly an impossible venture for any audiophile, as we enjoy the listening aspect the most. Having said that, this vinyl is in ridiculously good shape for being 20 years old! I have looked it over several times looking for a reason to grade it less than NM and I can't find one!
Grading:
Vinyl: NM no signs of ever being played or handled
Jacket: VG++ no seam splits or discoloration due to wear of any kind. One very slight mark on the opening of the sleeve which could be due to original shipment when new. Could very easily be NM but I'm very picky!
Menu insert: NM seems to have never been removed
Plastic record protector: Unknown condition I did not remove it for inspection. Though it is present. If you would like me to remove it for inspection please request it. But I would rather not. These thin plastic protective sleeves easily wrinkle promoting fine scratches to the vinyl.
Dead wax:
Side 1: CI-7243-8-28732-(5 scribbled out) -1 AFI Pmm MASTERDISK (hand written) 1-1
Side 2: CI-72438(8 scribbled out) -28732 -1- (scribble)-B (2 scribbled) F2 triangle symbol followed by MM MASTERDISK 1-1
I ship all LP's in a 3mil protective sleeve. I ship in Pratt record mailers and spin clean all LP's prior to grading and a second time before shipment.
