Description
This is a very nice copy of very rare MFSL pressing of the LP, Blind Faith, released by MFSL, the date of which release I am not sure but probably mid 1980's. The LP was pressed on virgin vinyl (vinyl is translucent and light passes through) by the Victor Company of Japan and released in the US under license through MFSL. This was one of the first super groups featuring Eric Clapton and Ginger Baker, from Cream, and Stevie Winwood from Traffic.
As to grading, I grade very conservatively following Goldmine Record grading standard. Except that for records that are a notch below near mint, rather than VG ++, I prefer to use grade of Excellent. I do not use VG++ grade in addition to Excellent grade as is done by some.
The album visually is in excellent very clean condition with no visible marks. The LP plays very nicely but with slight crackle in the early part of first cut on Side 1, Had To Cry Today, but plays very well thereafter on Side 1 as well as Side 2, thus I would grade it about Very Good Plus. . Please note that this was cleaned before testing which was done few weeks before listing and done by hand and not machine. It should be cleaned again before listening. The gatefold cover is in very good condition. All cover corners show slight wear. The top and bottom seams are both strong as is the spine with some rub wear/loss of color but no splits. The product information is readable on the spine. There is some slight ring and other wear on both front and back of cover. There are a number of creases visible on both cover sides and evidence of damage due top price sticker evident on the top left corner of front cover. Because of EBay guideline/regulations I cannot show the front cover of the LP.
The LP is being sold without reserve and payment is expected within 3 days of auction close. Return of the LP will only be accepted if the same LP sold and shipped is returned. Buyers that behave in a less than ethical or unreasonable manner will be reported and blocked from participation in future auctions.
If you bid on and win more than one item shipping for multiple purchases will be adjusted. If you win more than one item do not pay until I have had the opportunity to issue new invoice to reflect combined lower shipping cost. Shipping for one item is $4 and includes tracking.
