You are bidding on a stunning original UK 1969 1st Pressing of this classic LP by Blind Faith, possibly the first great super-group (Clapton/Winwood/Baker). Although only short-lived, they left us with one great album and a legacy of controversy (this album cover was banned in more countries than British beef!). So please read on as you will be very hard-pressed to find another rare 1st press in this condition again! It is the Original 1969 UK 1st PRESSING (A1//B1 matrix) on the classic Red Polydor label with the 'Made in England' centre label text, and it is in Nr Mint/ EX+ Condition, virtually impossible for this record! The cool 1960's thick and chunky vinyl is visually and aurally stunning and shines with that 'just pressed' look and feel that only the most treasured albums have; it retains all of its original shine and lustre and really looks as if this record came off the press yesterday!!! For some reason, UK copies of this LP have not grown old gracefully and most are usually completely wrecked, please read as to why below - This one is not, both vinyl and sleeve are the best we have seen for a very long time, this album is going to make somebody very happy indeed! We have not come across another copy of this seminal album in this kind of condition for a long, long time (and I'm talking years...) From a close examination of the spindle holes it looks as if this record may have been played just a once or twice ever! It really is a beautiful copy of this hugely influential album. You will be very hard pushed to find another UK press copy of this legendary LP in such amazing condition, don't miss it...

The vinyl itself is in absolutely pristine condition! It has No scuffing, NO groove wear, NO warping or blemishes of any kind at all!!! It is NR MINT and would go the full mint if not for miniscule 0.6cm paper scuff on side B, it really is that good! I am very pleased to state that this is a record that also plays as good as it looks!!! It has NO jumps, NO pops and NO hissing, just a beautiful crisp sound that only the very 1st pressings of this album ever had! The thick quality pressed chunky 1960's vinyl looks and feels great (it is very heavy!). I would have to grade this vinyl as as N. Mint, which for a very 1st UK pressing of this amazing album, is very special indeed!! The Classic Red UK Polydor Centre Labels are in stunning N. MINT condition with NO Tears, NO Peeling, NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind, as mentioned above, they have only light spindle lines which lead me to believe that this record has only been played once or twice in its 36 year lifetime! The gramophone rims are also Mint!!! The classic Bob Seideman - designed gatefold sleeve, containing the song lyrics, is also in beautiful condition with NO Tears, NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind!!! It is completely blemish free! The sleeve lies perfectly FLAT with NO RING WEAR and a good strong spine, with mint legible text! Another special thing about this sleeve is its distinct lack of edge wear. These 1st press gatefold sleeves had no edge protection, i.e. they were no folded over, so the edge of the card was left exposed. As you can imagine this let to severe deterioration of the edges, making the album look very tatty, this can be seen on almost all of the copies of 'Blind Faith' that come up for sale today, I have only had the privilege of ever grading 1 or 2 as EX in the past, most have fallen way below due (in part) to the severe edge wear. This has been amazingly avoided on this particular album, by the owner storing all their record in tough industrial-strength outer PVC sleeves, I'd never seen anything like them before! Needless to say I asked if I could take all the sleeves home with me as well! The LP comes with its Original Polydor 'Made in England' poly-lined windowed inner sleeve, which is crisp flat, crease-free and also Nr Mint! We have no seen a UK 1st pressing this good in years, so don't let this one get away!

Grading, Image and Packaging Details
All our records are strictly graded under strong light using the UK Record Collector Grading System (see chart below for a full guide). The item you see in the images is actual item being sold. All records come shipped in either cruciform or regular sturdy purpose-designed record mailers, (with stiff cardboard inserts added for extra protection). All records are shipped outside the outer sleeves to prevent seam stress during transit. All records will reach you in the awesome condition that you see them now.

Good Luck! The UK Record Collector Grading System NAME GRADE INFORMATION Mint M Vinyl has just left the vinyl pressing machine and does not have any manufacturing flaws. It has never been handled and never played. Unless you work at the record plant, there is no such thing as mint! Record sleeves just left the pressing machine that made the sleeve. It has never been handled and a record has not been placed inside it which would deform it. Unless you work at the record plant, there is no such thing as mint! Near Mint NM Vinyl is virtually perfect. At most, perhaps a light scuff appears on the record. It should play without any noise or skips of any kind whatsoever. Record sleeve should look close to perfect with only minor signs of wear. The artwork should have no marks of any kind and there should be no "ring wear" (that is, the outline of the record inside should not show through the sleeve). Excellent EX or VG++ Vinyl should play with no skips of any kind. It should sound better than it looks. Often "Excellent" or "VG++" is a conservative version of "Near Mint." Perhaps some very minor surface scuffs, but again no effect on sound quality. Record sleeve might have some minor "ring wear" but otherwise the artwork should be unaffected. There should be no "ink wear" to the artwork. That is areas where the ink has worn down to the paper underneath. Perhaps some minor creases in the corners but no splits in the seams. Very Good Plus VG+ Vinyl will show wear including surface scuffs and some light scratches. Often, minor scuffs will be caused by the inner sleeve rubbing against the vinyl. If held up to a bright light, you will often see many tiny lines on the vinyl. Perhaps a few minor clicks or pops can be heard, but no deep scratches. Record sleeve should be clean, but slightly more aged. Perhaps some very small writing on the sleeve. The corners may be slightly bent, but not broken. There may be wear to the seams but not tears or holes popping through. Very Good VG Vinyl doesn't necessarily look good, but still plays well. Surface noise will probably be present including pops and clicks. At good volume levels, the music should overpower any pops and clicks present. Flaws should only be heard between tracks or on low volume passages. Record sleeve will look warn and used. There may be seam splitting, but not complete separation of the sleeve panels from each other. There will be noticeable ring wear on the cover, but most of the cover should still be in good condition. Good VG-/G+/G Vinyl looks well played, dull, and possibly not well taken care of. However, the record should still play without skipping. It will have substantial surface noise, pops and clicks. Loss of various parts of the dynamic range will occur due to worn grooves. This grade depends a lot on the owner and the type of record. A rock record may still sound "good" at high volume whereas a slower styles of music will sound terrible. Record sleeve may have many problems including seam splits, writing, taped repairs. However some of the artwork will still be visible. There can't be large tears and gouges in the cover. Fair/Poor F/P Doesn't meet the lowest standards for "good". At this point, the vinyl is difficult to listen to. The only reason to keep it would be due to extreme rarity or to fill a good sleeve until a better copy of the vinyl comes along. Doesn't meet the lowest standards for "good".
