The Blenders

LABEL:
CLASS

 "MY Hearts Desire/Little Rose"

DEAD WAX #'s:
   c-2068 - c-2069

PICTURED SIDE IS THE ONE THAT IS LOWEST  CONDITION, OTHER SIDE IS BETTER IF YOU CAN SAY THAT (PITURED SIDE HAS JUST A SMALL DOT ON L IN "CLASS").  LABEL IS SHINY FLAT MATTE SURFACE.

LABEL IS BLACK WITH SILVER WRITING

 '57-'58

GRADED:  NM-  Beautiful record.  You will be hard pressed to find a better record.

I GRADE THE  SLEEVE AS VG+

SLEEVE IS NOT THE ONE THAT I GOT WITH THE RECORD BUT IS AN ORIGINAL CLASS SLEEVE

JUST A HINT OF SURFACE NOISE IN QUIET PARTS AND ALMOST NOT NOTICABLE SURFACE NOISE WHILE  AT HIGH VOLUME ON THE REST.  MAY BENEFIT FROM A HIGHEND RECORD CLEANING MACHINE DUE TO AGE, WHICH I LEAVE UP TO BUYER.  ONE SOFT POOF (SHORT LIKE A POP BUT NOT QUITE A POP) WAS NOTICED TOWARD END ON ONE SIDE.

VINYL GRADING:

M=Mint condition. Still sealed in plastic, never played.  I am unable to guarantee actual vinyl quality as the record was never opened to actually grade the record itself.   For collectors who probably don't even care about the music but only want to brag that they have an virgin record never played (please see my sealedLP policy below)!

NM= I actually had to play the record to verify this grade.  No aparent spindle marks and vinyl looks beatiful.  Vinyl may have flaws from stamping but no scraches other than maybe very slight sleeve marks may be visable.  NO surface noise aparent while listening to record was noticed by me.

NM- = Now this record may apear played with some flaws.  This is more for play grading because even though the record may appear less than NM- it indeed plays like NM but with obvious signs of being played.  I will note problems even with these the record indeed sounds overall NM or better.

VG+ =Very Good Plus. The vinyl is somewhere between relatively pristine, with no visible surface marks, to having some very light wear, with some surface marks and/or light scuffs (though certainly no cracks or deep fissures). Bottom line: Sound quality ought to please anybody but the most finicky, exacting listeners (you know who you are!)

VG =Very Good. Quite a few surface marks and/or scuffs; there will almost certainly be audible clicks and pops during play, though not so much that it seriously interferes with your enjoyment of the record. Bottom line: If you are one of those ultra-discerning audiophile types, this will probably not be good enough for you--stick to VG+ or compact discs.

VG- =Very Good Minus. Many surface marks and scuffs, grooves are worn, and more than likely a 'digger' or two (i.e., scratch mark in the vinyl you can feel with your fingernail). Pops and clicks will be more or less constant during play, though the music will still come through loud and clear. Bottom line: If you're not sure you'll like a record, or if it's a record that's rare and usually too expensive, then VG- is your cheaper alternative.

SLEEVES, COVER AND LABELS:

M = Mint. Still sealed in the original plastic, and the cover inside looks more or less perfect, with absolutely no ringwear, wrinkles, cutouts or marks of any kind.

NM = Near Mint. Still sealed in the original plastic, but with a very minor flaw or two, such as barely discernible ringwear or a tiny hole punch.

VG+ =Very Good Plus. Some minor wear or minor flaws, such as light ringwear, a small hole punch or cutout, or wrinkles. Edges and spine are intact and tight, with only perhaps a bit of wear.

VG = Very Good Some more noticeable flaws, such as: edgwear, spine wear, ringwear, a small split seam, fading, small writing or drawing with pen, stickers, other wear. You can easily see that it's a used record at first glance.

VG- = Very Good Minus. The cover suffers from more serious wear, with flaws such as split seam(s), fading, spotting (i.e., discoloration due to light or dark spots), split spine, frayed edges, stickers, writing, etc. Not quite falling apart, but well on its way to a state of terminal disrepair.
