Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years. My main interest has been PROGRESSIVE especially the VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL LABEL, reputed to be the most collectable label in the world?

I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

SO HERE WE GO.......

This is the rarest pressing of this great album. Due to the expected demand for this album slightly different pressings were produced at the same time or within a short time of each other due to the success of Black Sabbath at the time. You can see the 2 different original UK pressings at vertigoswirl.com. BUT this pressing is different again! I will explain.

This pressing has 'Made in England' on the B side label and comes in the correct rarest sleeve with  'De Luxe' on the rear of the sleeve, small printing on the spine and the track times printed on the inner gatefold. This is all correct for the rarer pressing. But this copy also has  'PORKY' and 'PECKO' etched into the dead wax? Which should only appear on the other pressing? I have never seen another of these before or heard of another. Very rare indeed.

SLEEVE.....GATEFOLD and UN-LAMINATED. This un-laminated sleeve is in superb N/MINT condition, the surface is in great condition. It is showing ALMOST NO WEAR. .  It is very flat and square. The colours are very strong and vibrant LIKE NEW. The top edges are N/MINT, the bottom edges are N/MINT. The front is N/MINT with  NO UNWANTED WRITING, NO STICKER TEARS, NO STICKERS , NO STAINING. The rear  is in the same wonderful N/MINT condition with NO RING WEAR. Just a little age foxing and some very gentle surface rub, hardly any at all and can only be seen on very close inspection. The inner gatefold is MINT as is the all important booklet which firmly in place. The opening edges are in lovely N/MINT condition with no tears and no feathering. There is almost NO spine wear and the information is fully readable. There is minor wear to the corners tips. All in all this is in wonderful condition for a 41 year old sleeve. N/MINT....STUNNING. YOU WILL FIND IT HARD TO BETTER THIS ONE.

The 'SPIRAL' inner is clean and tidy and has split edges it is relined with a modern 'NAGOKA' liner.

LABELS.....There is NO unwanted writing, staining, stickers, residue or tears. There is NO spindle wear and only few very light spider marks. N/MINT, N/MINT

VINYL....Both sides of this fantastic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see VERY FEW, VERY LIGHT surface hair lines which were caused by removal and replacement in and out of the inner sleeve, there are no nasty marks or scratches. In normal daylight this album is N/MINT. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo seperation. There are VERY FEW dust crackles that can be heard only in the quiet parts of the music or between tracks, but a professional clean should sort out most of that. These origional pressings are second to none. This really is a great copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER .  N/MINT-N/MINT. WONDERFUL!

THIS ALBUM IS NOW SO VERY VERY RARE AND THIS ONE IS A REAL CRACKER!
