This 1ST PRESSING lp is the self-titled debut BLACK SABBATH. This was released in 1970 by Vertigo Records (with A Philips Record Product on the label). This is #VO 6 847 903 VTY. The trail off matrix for Side 1 is V O 6 1Y * 1 420 12 1 C. The trail off matrix for Side 2 is VO 6 2Y * 1 420 12 7. See the pics for further details. PLEASE NOTE: The eBay pre-filled info is for informational purposes only. This is the ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSING with gatefold jacket. NO upc code. I'll try to take photos as clear as possible so you can see & read all the details from the item. Obvious misspelling of Ozzy (Ossie). The vinyl is VG+, clean & shiny. There are some light surface marks/scratches at the end of Side A from handling/usage, as seen under a strong light. Looks rarely, if ever, played. I don't have equipment to play test this. They may or may not affect play or be audible when playing. The jacket is G with obvious wear and/or dings all around the edges from handling/usage. The bottom right corner has the most noticeable ding. The spine is chipped in the center. But the most noticeable DAMAGE is inside when you open the gatefold jacket. After sitting for decades on my shelving in my basement, HURRICANE SANDY DESTROYED much of my collections in various categories back in October 2012. Some of my archive was rescued only by being on higher shelves. So the dampness or whatever caused the 2 sides of the jacket to stick & when peeled apart, you see from the photos what happened. I still get pissed, sad, whatever you can say, when I handle some of what's been saved. Also, when held under light on a certain angle, you can see drip/water stain that ran down the front of the jacket. The more I type the more angry I'm getting. This record would've sold for much higher than I'm asking because of these details. The inner sleeve plastic lined baggie from Vertigo is fully intact. There's a minor basement odor but as is airs out it's fading. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM IF ANY OF THESE CONDITIONS WILL BOTHER YOU OR BE A PROBLEM FOR YOU. THIS ITEM IS SOLD AS IS. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
