this is the very first and extremely short-lived Australian original blue and silver label Fontana pressing with a single (non-gatefold) laminated cover - only a tiny number of these beyond rare originals were ever released, having been quickly replaced by the Fontana gatefold version (itself rare and only briefly in production) - and followed very soon afterwards by the conventional spiral Vertigo gatefold issue - this copy is superb and a must-have for the Ozzy Osbourne / Black Sabbath completist - the record is very near mint with stunning as-new gloss - both labels perfect - clean, bright and sharp (see photos) - the dazzling glossy (front) cover is also immaculate and the matt rear sleeve, yet again, faultless - no damage or wear whatsoever - spine perfect - unique original debut LP - impossibly rare, especially in this condition - this item represents an important, desirable and historic Black Sabbath artefact - NO RESERVE
