Description

Artist: Black Sabbath Title: Master Of Reality Label: Vertigo Cat No: 6360 050 Year: 1971 Country: UK
I am in the process of selling my Record Collection. This is the rare original 1971 Ist ever UK Issue of `Master Of Reality` by Black Sabbath on the UK Spiral/Swirl Vertigo Label. What makes this copy so rare is that it is not only the first ever UK Issue but contains the original poster that came contained in the box sleeve, the sleeve itself is in Top condition due to the fact that it has been stored with a cardboard stiffener inside which has kept the sleeve in great shape (most are usually flattened and squashed). The Vinyl is in Excellent Condition Matrix: Side 1 6360 050 1Y//1  -  Side 2 - 6360 050 2Y//1 (note : this has the true machine pressed matrix showing its genuine - beware of fake counterfeits with hand etched matrix)

Vinyl (EX) Played through Great!, under bright halogen lights I can only see light sleeve removal scuffs, no major scratches! comes with 1971 dated Vertigo swirl inner sleeve
Inners (EX+) - this is the original poster as released, it is the genuine size + matt finish as originally purchased in 1971 UK LP in great condition, it had been on the wall back in the day (why did we do that??) so there is some tape damage to top corners however apart from that it looks great no rips or tears (please see photos for best overview)
Labels - Lovely Clean Swirl labels (no pen marks etc) under bright light I can see visible spindle lines which show some play
Sleeve (EX++) - Original 1st issue `Howards Printers, Slough` laminated finish flip top box sleeve with embossed wording on the front, looks great due to it having been stored with card stiffener inside which has maintained its shape, minimal edgewear with just a very small amount of the usual laminate creasing, clearly readable spine! (Please see photos for complete overview)
Overview if you want to own an original of this classic album as it 1st arrived in the UK shops 50+ years ago back in 1971 before all the reissues this is a great opportunity

I am in the process of selling lots of obscure & rare Records/CD`s, I will be posting regularly why not check them out!

I use professionally made packers with card stiffeners & record removed from album cover

I use lots of photos to show as accurately as possible what you are getting (also I dont cut the corners of the record sleeve off the picture!!)

Gradings: I use the standard UK gradings as set out in Record Collector Magazine below:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Near Mint,  EX+, VG+ etc are acceptable additions to help `fine tune` descriptions for the buyer
