Description
Well, Ladies and Gentlemen here is a Black Sabbath rarity!!! On the original Stereo U.K. WWA Records label from 1971 (WWA 008 / 6360 050). Here we have one of the very first WWA issues of 'Master Of Reality'. This is even more different due to the fact that it comes in an original 'Box' sleeve with a Vertigo inner sleeve and the super rare poster!!! On closer inspection... On the dead wax the matrix numbers are all the same as the Vertigo original:
Side One: 6360 050 1Y//2V420 14 10 04 (With the 6360 050 crossed and WWA 008 scratched in above it).
Side Two: 6360 050 2Y//1V420 18 7 04 (With the 6360 050 crossed and WWA 008 scratched in next to it).
apart from one difference, they are crossed out and 'WWA 008' is scratched in on both sides!! My conclusion is, that this LP is exactly the same as a Vertigo original apart from the WWA label, so this must be one of the very first WWA pressings that the label was just pressed onto a Vertigo disc just as they changed labels. This is a super rare item and one that does not turn up every day. The most important fact with this item is that the poster is included and is in superb condition. I can assure you that this is genuine in every way, this was bought as part of a small collection that i am listing on Ebay now. This is perhaps a one-off chance to own this super rare piece of Black Sabbath history. Dont miss out. A NO RESERVE AUCTION.
Disc (Housed in its original Swirl inner): EX+: Due to only a few, very light, surface markings that have no affect on the sound of this disc at all. This disc sounds and is visually superb.
Embossed 'Box' Sleeve: EX: To be honest this is actually one of the best examples of this sleeve i have ever seen, apart from the laminate crack on the left side of the front cover (see pic). The laminate has lifted and cracked, but other than this and very few, very small laminate creases dotted around the outside this sleeve is in superb condition with NO tears, rips or dodgy joints like so many 'Master Of Reality' 'Boxes' have. This is a superb example of this classic sleeve.
Poster: Original super rare poster in Near Mint condition. What more can i say!!!?!!
Labels: Are both clean and tidy with only one or two, very faint spindal markings around the centre hole on each side.
Sound Quality: This album sounds superb throughout. Crisp and clear with no distortion. A really great sounding copy.
Unfortunatly i do not accept Paypal or any form of online payments.
