An absolutely TOWERING recording that's cemented in history as an APEX example of thundering heavy...HEAVY metal!!
Released in Britain on the infamous Vertigo 'swirl' record lable, it's a tremendous follow up to a super renowned album in 'Paranoid' - a record that really *couldn't* be topped.
Well here is the proof that it was - if not bettered, it was equalled!
Landmark discs are what I profess to deal in, and indeed this is one hell of a stamp on that period in music history, and the manifesting of HEAVY METAL as a real genre - Sabbath were 'the Masters' of it.
'Into The Void' and 'Children Of The Grave' are astonishing powerful tracks that stir the fluids, while 'Solitude' breathes of lingering despair.
Terrific and evocative, a complete album with no flaws - a spectacular piece, and certainly a keeper!
CONDITION;
VINYL is NEAR MINT, plays supremely, and is as nice a disc as you can wish for.
LABLES are bright and clean, NM also, NO stains or pen, fantastic!
EMBOSSED COVER in VG++ to EX CONDITION, some light wear mostly to the lettering.
The famous POSTER is in REMARKABLE condition, clean and unfaded, little to no signs of handling or aging. It's been kept inside the cover.
Warner company inner ad sleeve is split on one seam.
