M- (Mint-): often unplayed stock/archive copies
NM (Near Mint): record in beautiful shape but is used; has lightest surface wear only.
VG++ (Excellent): light surface wear/hairlines that don't affect play; light surface noise could be possible here and there.
VG+ (Very Good Plus): surface marks/hairlines, some may audible; surface noise here and there, maybe little dusty.
VG (Very Good): vinyl shows lots of wear but no heavy scratches; does not skip but lots of surface noise, maybe dusty.
Cover/Sleeve Grading
M (Mint): new, often still sealed.
NM (Near Mint): in beautiful shape, might have very light cover wear or very small signs of use at edges or corners.
VG++ (Excellent): very light cover wear or small cut mark/corner, some wear at edges and/or corners.
VG+ (Very Good Plus): moderate cover wear or small split seam or small cutout hole or cut out.
VG (Very Good): cover may have tears, splits, writings (woc), strong edge and/or corner wear.
