Black Dyke Mills Band - ‘Thingumybob / Yellow Submarine'. APPLE 4

Black Dyke Mills Band 1968 UK 1st FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO pressing of the 'Thingumybob / Yellow Submarine' 7" single. Released on the 6th September 1968, this is one of the rarest UK releases on the Apple label. In addition, this factory sample demo issue is one of the first 300 produced as both sides have the very earliest 1 G stampers to both sides.

Released on the Apple lable both sides feature the ’Sold in UK….’ text. The vinyl is housed within the original 1968 glossy Apple sleeve. Both tracks were written by Lennon-McCartney with both Produced by Paul. A rare Beatles related record, a pity about the condition.

The Matrix numbers are: (1003 A-1 & 1003 B-1 are crossed out in each respective run-out).

Side 1. APPLE 4 A-1 1 G KT

Side 2. APPLE 4 B-1 1 G KT

The vinyl is in FAIR/POOR condition.

Both labels are in EXCELLENT+/EXCELLENT condition.

The sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition.
