Description
A very rare record by Black Cat Bones, Barbed Wire Sandwich. The original Decca Nova Mono vinyl press. Sadly the sleeve is no more, so this is for the record and the inner sleeve only. I do however have a blank LP sleeve (proper pressed card with flat edged spine). I can make up a cover for it if you wish.
There are a few pops and crackles but it plays well. A few marks on vinyl. It does not jump skip or stick.
Nice if you just want to hear this rare vinyl.
"Black Cat Bones were a British heavy blues rock group from London. The band is perhaps best known for having had Paul Kossoff and Simon Kirke in its lineup, both of whom later joined Free in 1968. Kirke also became a founding member of Bad Company in 1974.
Black Cat Bones (named after black cat bones, a Hoodoo charm associated with blues music) played regularly on the London pub circuit.
Barbed Wire Sandwich is a psychedelic heavy blues rock studio album released by British Black Cat Bones in 1970 by Decca. The original vinyl version of the album is now highly sought after by collectors of rock and heavy blues music of the late 1960s and 1970s. It is the only studio release of the band.
