Description
Biting Tongues Compressor Base 7" Single Factory Records FAC 188 Radio Copy Only – Unplayed
Original 7" single of Compressor Base by Biting Tongues, released on Factory Records (FAC 188).
This is a “radio copy only” pressing, as stated clearly on the label not a standard retail issue. White label with green/orange Factory design, hand-marked catalogue reference and “45” notation.
Condition:
Record has never been played
Vinyl surface is clean and glossy
No spindle marks
Labels clean and sharp
Comes in original plain Factory sleeve (age-related toning and light marks as shown)
The sleeve shows natural ageing and some light staining consistent with early Factory paper sleeves, but is fully intact with no splits.
For Factory collectors, Biting Tongues were part of the wider Manchester post-punk / experimental scene orbiting the label in the mid-80s. Radio promo copies are less commonly seen than standard stock copies, particularly in unplayed condition.
