Live Beyond The Material Sky

Absolutely insane unreleased 1975 live concert released as a double LP. If you're into this guy, this will fry your brain. Quite progressive stuff and different than Human Instinct, this is really material that pays off when you listen carefully. Very jammy and improvisational. Soaring guitar work, of course, and the final tracks on side 4 kind of sound like what Santana circa Caravanserai would have sounded like if they were stripped down to basics and just concentrated on worshipping Hendrix. I don't know that I can describe it very well, but this is a gem for dedicated followers.
